Ian Penfold

In 2010 he formed Templer Construction Management offering bespoke services to various clients ranging from small building contractors to large scale developers.

Having spent a number of years working for larger organisations in Key roles such as Managing QS, Ian developed a broad overview of the Construction Industry which he wanted to allow smaller independent businesses to benefit from.

Ian specialises in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Cost Management, Bill of Quantities, Development Appraisals, Tender Bid Preparation, Programming and Contracts Management, allowing clients to benefit from his extensive construction knowledge.

Ian has successfully delivered various construction projects both commercial and residential ranging in value from £50k up to £10M+.

Ian has undertaken his own developments, the most recent project being a conversion of a 28-bedroom hotel into 7 high-end apartments.

Ian’s interest in construction developed in his early school years, and 32 years on his passion for the industry still remains very strong.
